Time Line
1880. February 26. The extension of the Detroit, Lansing & Northern company's road from Blanchard to Big Rapids has been completed as far as Mecosta, to which point it will be opened for traffic on March 1st proximo. [DFP-1880-0226]
1932. Michigan railroads since 1932 have quit using the following tracks. Some continue to exist but are not in use: PM from Big Rapids to Remus, and Remus to Weidman, Mecosta to Baryton. [DFP-1949-1009]
