Timetable: M&LS - Main Line - Manistique to Shingleton
This was the main line of the Manistique & Lake Superior railroad from the boat slip at Manistique to Shingleton and west to Doty.

Notes
Speed limit on the line was 25 mph for passenger trains, 20 mph for freight trains. Loaded ore between Steuben and Manistique limited to 15 mph and 12 mph elsewhere. Branch line speed between Scott's and Doyle's is 15 mph.
The short sidings along this line suggests that both passenger and freight trains were very short.
Time Line
1906. SNAPSHOT. The railroad ran four passenger trains each way daily except Sunday. These were second class trains which suggests they were mixed passenger/freight trains. Trains #1 and #2 ran from South Manistique to Shingleton round trip. Trains #3, #5, #4 and #6 ran between Manistique River and Steuben round trip. Trains #7 and #8 ran from South Manistique via Scotts to the end of the Doyle's spur. [ETT-1906]
1909. Two trains ran daily except Sunday between Manistique River and Steuben and return. One round trip bertween Manistique and Shingleton ran daily except Sunday leaving Manistique at 10:05 am and returning back at 4:50 pm, about 90 minutes each way. [ETT-1909]
1911. Just one train ran a round trip first class train (#1 north and #2 south) between Manistique and Doty. It left Manistique daily except Sunday at 10:05 am, arriving at Doty at 3;00 pm. The return trip left Doty at 3:15 pm arriving back at Manistique at 6:50 pm. [ETT-1911]
1930. January. The M&LS railroad put out an extra train on Thursday to plow out the well-drifted tracks and branches to Doty, due to the three days' snowfall. [EDP-1930-0119]
