Time Line

1891. It looks as if it would require two large trains to take the people from Port Huron and vicinity and from places along the line of the Michigan Air Line, Grand Trunk division, to Jackson on August 11th. It will give all who would like to go an opportunity to visit the state prison in that city. The fare for round trip is only $3.50 from Port Huron. [PHTH-1891-0716] 

1971. Connection with Pontiac Belt Line - normal position of switch is for the Pontiac Belt Line. Trains operating west of Belt Junction will be governed by Holly subdivision footnote instructions. Cars on this subdivision are limited to 220,000 lbs. Speed limit is 40 mph. Train order office at Pontiac Yard is 24/7. Other daytime M-F train order stations at: Armada, Richmond, Rochester and Romeo.
