Timetable: DT&I Railroad - Toledo Branch - Dundee/Petersburg to Toledo
This branch line was originally built to be an interurban line. It was purchased by the DT&I to reach Toledo from Dundee (before the Malinta cut-off was built). After the cut-off, the line was discontinued between Dundee and Petersburg Junction. Station hours are from 1937.

Time Line
1916. The crossing at Petersburg of the NYC Monroe Branch is protected by gates, all trains being required to stop in advance as required by law. [MCR-1916]
1930. the Toledo Branch runs southeastward from Petersburg Junction to Toledo yard (known in Toledo as Temperance Yard) a distance of 14.6 miles. It is single track, laid with 90# rail on gravel ballast. the right of way is narrow, has several curves running up to 4o, and is partly located on a county road. The line runs through the main street of the Village of Lambertsville (T 9.5). The ruling grade against southward movements is 0.22%, and against northward movements the ruling grade is 1.0%. Northward tonnage trains double from Toledo yard to St. Anthonys or are pushed by a yard engine.
Toledo Yard is located on the Toledo Terminal Railroad, just northwest fo the city limits, and has a capacity of 334 cars. There is a coal dock, water station, wye and track scale. The Terminal gives a connection to all railroads entering Toledo, but the Pennsylvania and W.&L.E. regularly operate puller service between their yards and the DT&I yard over the tracks of the Terminal. When business warrants, the B&O, C&O and NYC also operate puller trains into the DT&I yard.
The DT&I has only two industries on its tracks at Toledo, a small coal yard and a bulk station of the White Star Refining Co. There are team tracks at the yard and at Lambertsville ( 9.5), Garrigans (T 8.0), St. Anthony's (T 6.3) and Petersburg. Traffic of all these points is handled by the Toledo agency. Petersburg is a village located about one mile northwest of Petersburg Junction. Two spur tracks formerly served small industries, but there is no business there now. At the Junction there are two tracks of 45-car capacity used for setting off cars moving between Toledo and points south on the main line. The end of double track is 1/2 mile south of Petersburg Junction. [DT&I blueprint, 1930's]
