Iron Mountain Loop Line - Antoine to Fumee
This was a 14.2 branch which connected the Antoine area diagonally with the Fumee area, serving several mines. The route went north of Lake Antoine, and south of Lake Fumee.
The southern portion of the line, north west of Fumee to the Globe Mine branch was removed around 1915. The remainder of the line from the Globe Mine branch to near Antoine was removed around 1955. [MRL]

Notes
This line was built about one year before the Ore Line was built by the Escanaba, Iron Mountain & Western, which was sold to C&NW a year later. The primary reason for this line was to reach mines east of Iron Mountain, and as a bypass around Iron Mountain and the Chapin Mine.
