Terminal: Escanaba - C&NW | E&LS
The Escanaba terminal centered around iron ore (outbound) and coal (inbound) for many years. The terminal includes lines of the Chicago & North Western railroad and the Escanaba & Lake Superior railroad. Ore and coal docks were located along the lake.
The Milwaukee Road also served the terminal using trackage of the E&LS (from Channing to Wells) along with their own docks until the 1930's, when they joined an ore-pool with the C&NW.
