Location: Alabaster Junction, MI
Alabaster Junction was a location on the Detroit, Bay City & Alpena railroad (later D&M, Lake States) about three miles southwest of East Tawas in Iosco County. A branch left the main line here to the Alabaster gypsum quarry along Lake Huron.
Notes
A wye was located here and the D&M installed a tall radio tower within the wye for communicating with trains between Bay City and Alpena.
