Location: Lansing, MI - South Lansing Yard
South Lansing Yard was located on the Michigan Central's Saginaw Branch on the south side of the City of Lansing. This freight yard also had engine service facilities.
Notes
South Lansing Yard was a nine track railroad yard on their Saginaw Secondary branch north of Savanaugh Street. The railroad had a single track engine house (just south of Savanaugh street), with the yard office across the street.
This yard was just south of the GTW main line interlocking and the northbound approach signal to the crossing was at the north end of the yard.
