Station: Lansing, MI - GTW facilities
The Grand Trunk Western's Lansing passenger train station was located on their main line at Washington Street south of downtown.

Notes
The station has been restored and is currently owned by the Board of Water and Light. [CGJ/GTWHS-2021-Sum]
Time Line
1902. The GTW builds a new station here. [MCR-1902]
1902. The new GTW at Lansing depot is built by H. L. VanDerHorst. [LSJ-1971-1230]
1912. A new brick freight office and storage shed is built near the depot. [LSJ-1971-1230]
1918. The Grand Trunk had an agent here during the day and had telegraph operators here around the clock. [TRT]
1971. GTW operations will move from the depot to Snow Yard, west of Lansing. The depot will be sold.
