Station: Twin Lakes, MI
Twin Lakes was a stop on the Copper Range railroad a mile southwest of Donken in Houghton County. The town was named after nearby Lake Roland and Lake Gerald.
Notes
Time Line
1911. The Copper Range is installing telephone along its main line with a phone every mile. The newspaper notes that a trainman can call up any station on the road immediately and this will benefit stops where there are no stations such as the Twin Lakes. [CN-1911-0324]
