Station: Beacon Hill, MI
Beacon Hill was located along Lake Superior, three miles east of Freda. It was a station on the Copper Range railroad Freda Branch. The Trimountain Mining Company built their copper processing mill here in 1902.

The COPR had a 2 story railroad depot at Beacon Hill, 20'x58', built in 1901 and updated in 1915.
Time Line
1910. The Hancock members of the Knights of Columbus will go to Beacon Hill on a special train over the Copper Range railroad to attend the church fair being held this week by the congregation of the Beacon Hill-Freda church, of which Fr. John Boss is pastor. The Young Men's Catholic Club orchestra will accompany them and give a concert during the evening. [CN-1910-1125]
1913. March 26. A snow plow, while bucking the drifts at Beacon Hill yesterday afternoon in an attempt to open up the line between Mill Mine Junction and Redridge, was derailed and was hit by an engine. [CN-1913-0326]
