Notes
Time Line
1933. July 25. Nicholas Paduan, head linesman for the Copper Range company, was killed and two others were injured Sunday when a Copper Range railroad motor car jumped the tracks and turned over near the No. 2 mine shaft at Baltic. The injured were Padaun's son, James, 15 and John Verrier, a lineman of Houghton. The coroner said the accident was caused by rocks which had been placed on the tracks, presumably by children at play. [IDG-1933-0725]
