1894. September 8. A forest fire derails an engine, killing 1 person.
1939. Logs are being loaded onto railroad cars at Pori, Ontonagon county, for shipment to the Ford Motor Co. at Iron Mountain. [BHN-1939-1006]
1943. The MILW had a railroad telephone line for railroad employees in the section house here. [ETT-1943]
