Station: Hubbell, MI

Hubbell is a small town located along Torch Lake just south of Lake Linden in Houghton County. Hubbell was at the center of several copper ore processing facilities. The town was first settled in 1894. It was also called Hubbell's Mill and then South Lake Linden. The name was changed to Hubbell in 1891. [MPN]

1906. As soon as the depot from Allouez is placed in commission at Wolverine the former Wolverine depot will be moved to Hubbell. [DFP-1906-1206]

1916. The COPR builds a new station at Hubbell. [MCR-1916]

1918. The DSS&A had an agent/operator at this location during the day. [TRT]
