Time Line

1902. December 7. An application was received by the railroad commission from the Houghton County Street Railway for approval of a crossing of its line with the Mineral Range Railroad, on Duncan avenue, in the village of Hubbell. Petitions were also received from a number of residents of the village asking that the crossing be approved. The crossing was approved with the understanding that it be protected by a half interlocking appliance, to be constructed to the satisfaction of this department. [MCR-1903]
