Bridge: Black River Arch Bridge, Ramsey, MI - (C&NW)
This arch bridge was built in 1891 by the Chicago & Northwestern railroad. It is locally called the "keystone" bridge and was constructed with limestone quarried from Kaukauna, Wisconsin. The bridge is 45' long and 57' high. [UPM] The bridge is no longer used by railroads but can be viewed from Main Street in Ramsey. It is used as a snowmobile trail today.
