Location: Iron Mountain, MI - Von Platen-Fox Company
The Von Platen - Fox Company had large lumber operations in Iron Mountain, MI. Their mill was located south of downtown in a location which is now the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Iron Mountain.

Notes
This facility began showing up in 1911 Sanborn maps and was present until about World War II. By 1949, the mill was replaced with the Veteran's Hospital. [SBM]
