Station: Ralph, MI

Turntable at Ralph MIRalph was a town in Dickenson County on the Escanaba & Lake Superior railroad, about 15 miles east of Channing. It was also named Bryden for a time.

Photo info: Top, E&LS motor car 22 is being turned on a small turntable at Ralph, ready for its return trip to Wells. The E&LS maintained two trains northwest from Wells and this was one of them. The motor car served a long-standing U.S. postal service contract to small towns north and west of Escanaba. [From Lucas Beebe's Mixed Train Daily, Greg Bunce collection]
