Station: Waucedah, MI
Waudcedah was a town on the Chicago & North Western railroad's branch from Escanaba and Powers to Iron Mountain. It was located about nine miles east of Norway in southeast Dickenson County. A number of early mines were located here.

This was the beginning of double track through the Norway area on the C&NW in 1917.
The depot here had an "operators window". A hotel and barn was located across the street. [CNWV-1917]
Time Line
1917. Two spur tracks to the northwest were removed. They appear to have served a mine. [CNWV]
1918. The C&NW had an agent/operator at this station on the day shift. [TRT]
1931. The MPUC grants permission to the C&NW to change Waucedah to a non-agency station in charge of a caretaker. [MPUC-1931]
