Station: Narenta, MI
Narenta, in Delta county, was the junction of the C&NW's main line from Powers to Escanaba, and their branch to Felch. It was settled in 1884.

Time Line
1896. Chicago & North-Western architects are now preparing plans for a handsome eating-house and hotel to be erected at once mid-way between Spaulding [sic] and Powers. When the new eating-house is ready for business the one at Marinette will be closed. [RTR=1896-0321]
1914. July. Light engine 1762, a Class A 2-8-0, turned over on the werst wye at Narenta. It took the wrecking crew a week to get it back on safe track. [EDP-1948-1217]
1918. The C&NW had an agent operator here on all three shifts. [TRT]
