Location: Hackley's Siding, MI (Clare County)
Hackley's Siding was a location on the PM's forest branch line from Harrison to Meredith. It was located about six miles northeast of Harrison.

Time Line
1883. A brakeman whose name is not known and who has been employed but two or three days, was ground to pieces (sic) on the Harrison branch of the F&PM railway, about midway between Harrison Junction and Merideth. Mangled portions of his body only were found the next morning. [LDP-1883-1206]
