Station: Bay Mills, MI
Bay Mills was located on the DSS&A Sault Ste. Marie Branch and along Lake Superior. It was home to the James Norris & Company lumber business establlished in 1875. In 1904, a fire destroyed the Hall & Munson lumber mills and the village began to vanish. The area is now the Bay Mills Community, an Indian reservation. [MPN]
