Time Line
1880. December. The new depot of the Chicago & Grand Trunk Railroad at Battle Creek is enclosed and will soon be occupied by the officers and clerks of the different departments. [DFP-1880-1202]
1905. April. The GTW has started work on a new depot at Battle Creek, at a cost of $100,00. They are also planning car shops east of the depot. [RG-1905-0421:130]
1918. The Grand Trunk had a day and night chief operator here. They also had a 1st and 2nd shift operator telegrapher. [TRT]
