The Garden City Fan Company built industrial and other fans at this sprawling facility in Niles, MI. The facility continue to manufacture fan parts until 2004.
Photo Info: A switch engine works at the yard in front of the sprawling Garden City Fan manufacturing facility. Note that one box car is owned by the Erie & Michigan Railway and Navigation Co., which was a 5-mile long railroad in Alabaster, MI which was operated by the Detroit & Mackinac Ry.
