Station: Watervliet, MI
Watervliet was located on the Pere Marquette main line in the northeast corner of Berrien county. A sawmill was built here in 1833. It was also known as Waterford for a time. It was incorporated as a village in 1891 and a city in 1924. [MPN]

Time Line
1905. The PM builds a new water station at Watervliet, replacing an older facility. [PMAR-1905]
1949. The C&O passing siding here is removed as a part of their CTC project between Porter, IN and Lamar (Grand Rapids). The water station at Watervliet was removed with a new station at Kirk. [RSE-1949-04]
