Bay was a location on the east shore of Lake Superior's Huron Bay. The Iron Range & Huron Bay Railroad built an ore dock here, but the dock was never used and was dismantled shortly thereafter.
The approach trestle was a part of a wye with the other leg of the wye out of view.
This trestle was never used and was dismantled about 1890 and timber ore chutes used for other purposes at other locations.
