Industry: Alpena, MI - Specification Stone Quarry

This quarry is located north of the Lake States (former Detroit & Mackinac) railway yard east of Alpena Junction, north along Long Lake Road. The quarry was originally called the Glawe Quarry and was purchased by the Levy Group/Specification Stone Products in 2009. This quarry is serviced by a short LSRC spur which leaves the yard at Alpena. [APN-2019]

Notes

This quarry provides the LSRC with approximately 30-50 loads per day which go to the Bay City area.
