Location: Vickers, OH Interlocking
Vickers is the location of a New York Central interlocking tower which is at the east entrance to the NYC's Toledo terminal. Vickers controlled the north/south crossing of the Hocking Valley, which later became the Chesapeake & Ohio (and now CSX).
Notes
Vickers has always been a bottleneck location for the C&O/CSX. The NYC east/west main line was very busy and the NYC controlled the crossing. Windows for north/south C&O traffic take time to clear.
