Location: Toledo, OH - PRR Passenger Station
The PRR passenger station was located south on North Summit Street along the Maumee River and near Olive Block station. Passengers entered the building on the upper level with tracks on the lower level.
Notes
Prior to the opening of this station, the PRR used the Lake Shore’s Union Station. [CQII]
The PRR’s Water Street industrial spur went south from here along the river.
Time Line
1920. The new depot is opened. [CQII]
1958. The Red Arrow was the last passenger train between Detroit and Toledo. It was discontinued in July. [CQII]
