Location: Dearborn, MI - CP Mort
Control point "Mort" is located on the Amtrak main line, near Oakwood Blvd, just west of the Dearborn Amtrak station. This is a controlled crossover between the two mains. It is remotely controlled by the Amtrak dispatcher.
During the period when the Conrail main line was single track west from Dearborn to Jackson, CP Mort was the beginning of double track eastbound.
