Bridge: Dearborn, MI - (CSX)
The Pere Marquette built this railroad bridge over the Michigan Central when they relocated their main line between Oak Junction and Delray in 1891. This bridge was a steel subdivided Warren truss bridge 233' long with three spans. It was designed by Charles Jaeger. [LPM] The bridge continues to serve the CSX, crossing over the Conrail Shared Assets line.

Time Line
1930. The original single-track PM railroad overpass was replaced by the current Southern Street Railroad Overpass, designed to carry heavier trains on four tracks. This nine-panel, segmented-Warren continuous-truss bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
