Location: Delray, MI - Wabash Roundhouse
During the steam era, the Wabash had a roundhouse just easy of Delray interlocking, on the north side of the Union Belt railroad. This is the current location of the I-75 overpass.

Notes
Engine facility is used by all Wabash locomotives, as well as PRR freight and switch engines. The PRR passenger engines used the PM 21st street roundhouse. [PM45]

Time Line
1924. The PRR uses this roundhouse for their Union Belt power.
1954. The Wabash moves their (now diesel) locomotives to a new diesel shop at Oakwood yard across the Rouge River. PRR power moves to Lincoln Yard. The roundhouse is closed. [TSD]
