Station: Mount Olivet, MI (Detroit)
Mount Olivet, also known as Mt. Olivet, was a station stop on the Chicago & Grand Trunk railway. It was a new station in 1888, and named after a recently-opened Catholic cemetery about nine miles from downtown Detroit.

1888. July 14. A passenger train at Mt. Olivet (Detroit) enters open switch at 25 mph and turns over, killing fireman, injuring passenger. [DFP-18888-0715]
