Location: Ypsilanti, MI - Interurban Facilities

The Detroit, Jackson & Chicago interurban line served Ypsilanti, coming in the town from the east on Michigan Avenue, turning north on Washington Street, and then west on Washtenaw Avenue.

The railroad was double-tracked on Washington Street and had a freight house there north of Michigan Avenue. The line along East Michigan avenue was also double tracked east of downtown Ypsilanti for about 8/10 of a mile.

The DJ&C had a branch from Michigan and Washington west on Michigan Avenue to Saline. It also had a car house and wye at Dunn, a power house with sidings and a wye at a gravel pit.
