Station: Three Rivers, MI - Facilities

Three Rivers YardThree Rivers was a crossing of two railroad lines, the Michigan Central Air Line (Jackson to Niles) and the Lake Shore & Michigan Southern Grand Rapids branch (Elkhart to Grand Rapids). The MC had a yard west of the crossing diamond which was maintained even after the Air Line was truncated west of here. The LS&MS also had a small yard here, north of the crossing.

Photo Info: This is a 1908 view of a yard, 3-bay roundhouse and water tower. It is unknown which line these facilities served.
