Station: Black Lake, MI

Black Lake is located in northwest Presque Isle County and is home to one of Michigan's oldest state parks - dedicated in 1921.

The Detroit & Mackinac railroad had a branch line built north from Onaway which served a gravel quarry about two miles south of the lake. This branch lasted only about 10 years before it was torn up.
