Station: Dighton, MI
Dighton was settled about 1884. [MPN] Dighton was located on the Michigan East and West railroad about seven miles east of Tustin in Osceola County.
Notes
This is reported to be the highest point in Michigan's Lower Peninsula.
Time Line
1910. In 1910, the M&GR (later ME&W) ran one passenger train each way between Manistee and Marion via Dighton. This was likely a mixed train. [OGR]
1916. The Michigan East & West builds a new concrete block passenger/freight station at Dighton. [MCR-1916]
