Station: South Branch, MI
South Branch was settled about 1887 and originally called Hunt and also Southbranch. In 1893 it was renamed South Branch. The town is in Ogemaw County, just west of the Iosco County line and was originally on the Detroit & Mackinac railroad's Rose City branch.
