Station: Pleasant Ridge, MI

Pleasant Ridge was a suburb of Oakland County, located just north of Ferndale. It is located at mileport 12.0 on the former GTW Holly Subdivision, 1.2 miles west (north) of Ferndale. During the 1970's, this was a station stop for SEMTA commuter trains. [GTWET-1971-0501]


Notes

The commuter shelter was at 10 mile road. There was also a water standpipe from steam locomotives. [GTWHS-2023-F]


Time Line

1950. The GTW was four-track here, with two main lines and two "thoroughfares" (freight mains).
