Location: Wixom, MI - Lincoln Yard

CSX Lincoln Yard Wixom MILincoln Yard was a yard which served the Ford Motor Company assembly plant at Wixom, MI. Ford originally made Lincoln automobiles here, hence the name of the yard.

The plant was closed in the early 2000's but the yard continues to exist but not heavily used.

Time Line

1978. Quite a few changes took place in 1978. Chessie went on a building spree to increase capacity.  A second passing track was added at Lincoln (Wixom). [DH]
