Notes

Vienna is also a location on the CN (former DT&SL) line at milepost 7.7. The Shore Line had a team track and training crossover here. This is an entrance to the Whiting Power Plant near Luna Pier. See Whiting, MI.

Time Line

1883. The people of Vienna feel very grateful toward General Superintendent Brown of the Michigan Central, for permitting the train which passes that station without stopping to stop and permit a passenger to alight who was summoned home on account of sickness. [DFP-1883-1019]
