Location: Menominee, MI - Ludington Street Crossing (CNW/MILW)
This was a crossing of the C&NW and Milwaukee Road lines about 1/2 mile west of the C&NW Menominee depot.
This was actually two seperate crossings. The CNW and MILW had parallel lines along the river towards their downtown depots. The C&NW was the north track, and it had a spur across the MILW to the Menominee River Sugar Company and perhaps a logging boom.
The MILW was the south track here, and it had spurs to the north along State Street which crossed the CNW line.
Notes
Both crossings were owned and maintained by the CM&StP railway under agreements in 1904 and 1894. [CNWV]
