Station: Nadeau, MI
Nadeau became a station stop on the Chicago & North Western railroad in 1878. It was located about six miles south of Powers on the C&NW main line. It was also known as Nadeau Section and Nadeau. [MPN]

Time Line
1914. May. The village of Nadeau in Menominee county was more than half destroyed by a fire which started in a chicken incubator at the Exchange hotel. The Exchange hotel, the Paress hotel, the post office and several residences were destroyed. Guests of the hotels had many narrow escapes, many being obligated to flee in scanty attire. 1918. The C&NW had an agent/operator at this station on the day shift. [TRT]
1931. The MPUC allows the C&NW railway to change its station at Nadeau from an agency station to a non-agency station in charge of a care-taker. [MPUC-1931]
