Location: Ishpeming, MI - C&NW Yard
The Chicago & North Western railroad had a five-track yard on the northwest side of the Lake Superior mine, on the curve south to Winthrop Junction.
Notes
The tracks in this yard were 1,410 to 5,645 feet in length.
The DSS&A (M&W) main line also paralleled the C&NW here, going around the Lake Superior mine to Winthrop Junction. [CNWV]
