Location: Winthrop Junction, MI - DSSA/C&NW Crossings

This was a double crossing of the C&NW Cascade (Loop Line) Branch and the DSS&A Winthrop Branch about 3/4 mile south of Winthrop Junction. The C&NW built through here originally. When the DSS&A built south from Winthrop Junction, they crossed the C&NW twice, about 200 feet apart in Section 21 of T47N-R27W.

Notes

This was a stop and proceed crossing in 1917. Each railroad had advanced stop warning signs.

The crossings were owned and maintained by the DSS&A as they were "last to build". [CNWV]
