Pluto is a junction on the old CNW loop line south of the National Mine location, south of Ishpeming. The Mineral Range railroad switches local industry here.

Notes
The Pluto Power Company is located here and was in operation in the early 1900's. It was reached by a spur off the C&NW Cascade Branch which was jointly operated by the C&NW and DSS&A under a 1911 agreement. [CNWV] Buildings on the site were the office, shell house, boiler house and dope house.
