Location: Euclid Yard, Ishpeming, MI
Euclid Yard was built after the joint line was created in the 1960's across the north side of Negaunee and Ishpeming. Euclid was the C&NW's main yard in this area and was the main interchange between LS&I and C&NW. After Republic and Humboldt operations closed in the 1980's, the interchange was moved to Eagle Mills and Partridge siding (near the Empire Mine). Today it is used by the Canadian National and the Mineral Range for interchange.
According to the original C&NW track maps, there was a main line and passing track here, along with (from north to south) 2 yard tracks for the LS&I, 2 yard tracks for the Soo Line, and five yard tracks for the C&NW.
