Station: Branch, MI
This station was likely also to be known as River Branch Junction, which was about two miles east of Kaleva on the Manistee & North Eastern. A M&NE branch left the line here to go east to Messick, Buckley and Grayling.
Notes
The C&O had a hot box detector at Loomis, which was read by the Saginaw dispatcher. [DH]
Time Line
1931. The MPUC approves the discontinuance of Branch as an agency station. The railroad will maintain the station as non-agency with a caretaker. [MPUC-1931]
