Station: Hunter's Mill Branch Switch, MI
Hunter's Mill was a lumber camp on the DSS&A between Soo Junction and Newberry. Likely this was today's Soo Junction or nearby.
The DSS&A built a five-mile branch from Soo Junction to the Hunter & Love Lumber Company mill on the Tahquamenon River in 1911. The 24-inch gauge Toonerville Trolley operates on this branch going from Soo Junction to the Tahquamenon River where Hunter's mill was located.
