Station: Seneca, MI
Seneca was settled about 1840. [MPN] When the Wabash railroad came through in the late 1880's, they established a station here.

Time Line
1901. November 27. The town became well known for a fatal train crash which occurred on November 27, 1901 resulting in 23 dead. It was caused by a misreading of train orders.
